It’s clear for many of us.  Silence is no longer an option.  It’s complicity and is leading our families, communities, and nation down the wrong road.  We know we need to speak out against oppressive beliefs—racism, sexism, and homophobia but we don’t know where or how to begin.

Experiencing anxiety on inevitable conflicts with friends and family at holiday time? Are the nightly news headlines forcing you to confront and analyze political and social issues in different ways?

Wondering how you can become a confident advocate and ally when you often feel overwhelmed and tongue-tied?

Let’s take our intent and transform it into action.

I have dedicated my life to helping people speak their truth. Sometimes it’s easy, but often it is very hard.   Hard because we are often confronting patterns of thinking that are comfortable, even acceptable in some circles.  When confronted with one of these conversations, it takes more than just wit or skill. It takes courage.

The most difficult conversations are with people who we love or respect.  Often, it is in tough conversations with those people we are left feeling misunderstood or unheard.  I can help you develop the skills to have courageous conversations with the people in your life. In order to that we must explore:

    • What holds you back from speaking or feeling heard?
    • Steps to holding space and ground in conversations.
    • Steps to breaking old patterns that keep us from communicating.
  • Envisioning with you transformed relationships even in the midst of entrenchment and conflict.

I am Nicole Lee. I am a leadership coach, strategist and diversity and inclusion professional. I facilitate programs that encourage transformation in belief and action for businesses, schools, and individuals lives. I’ve worked in politics and equity and inclusion for many years helping people transform their relationships through authentic and clear communication.

I can help you envision what you want at the end of the conversation for the rest of the relationship.  Together we can get past the fear and communicate boldly, compassionately and creatively.

As the vehicle for this important work, I’m offering a teaching and coaching package I’ve never offered together before.

The Package:

    • 4 live webinar classes – The class will take place May 1, May 8, May 15 and May 22nd starting at 7 PM EST/4 PM PST.  Don’t worry if you can’t make one.  A recording will be provided at the end of the session to everyone who has signed up.
    • 3 recorded interviews with leaders in the communication trenches! Can’t wait to tell you more about that!
  • Special facebook group to keep the conversation going.

I truly feel called to provide this opportunity for as many people who are ready to take the plunge.

I know collectively we can transform our communities if we have the essential communication tools that we need.

During the classes we will cover:

    • Modes of communication that make us strong, compassionate, and clear.
    • Communication Trigger points- recognizing them and overcoming them.
    • Speaking the Unspoken- expressing what we are called to communicate intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.
    • Listening Beneath the words- context, pain, and trauma.
    • Using narrative to deepen our understanding as well as the listener.
  • Using conflict as a bridge rather than a divide.

The bonus interviews will provide real-life, real-time examples of how people have transformed their relationships and articulation of equity and justice.  Even in these turbulent times, you will leave this class firm-footed, confident and principled.

The Facebook group is another opportunity for us to discuss how this plays out in our everyday lives and talk about real-time issues as they come about.
